The Premier League weekend kicks off at Stamford Bridge on Friday, with Chelsea going up against Liverpool. The Blues have made a bright start to the season under new coach Antonio Conte, and sit second only to Manchester City after the first four matches. They'll be looking to get back to winning ways after being held to a frustrating draw by Swansea City last time out.

Liverpool, meanwhile, have had a patchier start to the season, with Jürgen Klopp’s side mixing victories over Arsenal and Leicester City with dropped points at both Burnley and Tottenham Hotspur. They still only trail Chelsea by three points, though for the time being, they are still dogged by the inconsistency that has prevented them seriously challenging for the title over the last couple of seasons. A win away at Stamford Bridge could well force a reevaluation.
Chelsea will be without John Terry for this match, with David Luiz likely to be handed his second debut alongside Gary Cahill at the heart of defence. Liverpool have no serious injury concerns, though the versatile Emre Can is lacking match fitness after a layoff, and won’t be available. He joins injured squad players Sheyi Ojo and Ragnar Klavan on the sidelines.
