Pep Guardiola's Manchester City have started the season ominously well, racking up victories in every one of the seven competitive games they've played so far. Last weekend they recorded a 2-1 win over crosstown rivals United in an embarrassingly one-sided Manchester derby, and then they carried the momentum into a 4-0 thrashing of a talented Borussia Mönchengladbach side in the Champions League on Wednesday.
Manchester City vs. Bournemouth 2016 live stream: Game time, TV schedule and how to watch online
Bournemouth will try and halt Pep Guardiola’s unstoppable force at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

All that is bad news for their opponents on Saturday, Bournemouth. Eddie Howe’s men picked up just one point from their first three league games of the season, though immediate fears of second season syndrome have been allayed by the 1-0 win they eked out of West Bromwich Albion in their last encounter. That said, anything other than a heavy defeat would be no mean feat at the Etihad.
City are still without star striker Sergio Agüero through suspension, with youngster Kelechi Iheanacho likely to keep his place up top. Captain Vincent Kompany is still sidelined, while David Silva is doubtful with a thigh strain. Bournemouth’s only doubt is defender Tyrone Mings, who hasn’t played a single minute of competitive football in over a year: he picked up a serious knee injury in his Cherries debut last August, and is yet to make his return.
