Tottenham Hotspur will look to bounce back from their disappointing midweek defeat to Monaco in the Champions League when they take on Sunderland in Sunday's domestic action. Mauricio Pochettino's side are still unbeaten in the Premier League, though draws against both Merseyside clubs ensure they're still four points adrift of provisional league leaders Manchester City. It has been far from a poor start, but they'll look to find more momentum in the coming weeks.

They’ll consider themselves to be in with a great chance of returning to winning ways when they take on Sunderland on Sunday. David Moyes’ side is certainly one of the league’s weakest on paper, and so far it is showing in results. They’ve picked up a solitary point from their first four league matches, and ominously occupy the relegation zone at this early stage of the campaign.

Spurs' only pre-match doubt is Danny Rose, though Sunderland haven't been quite as fortunate on the injury front. They're certainly without Seb Larsson, Vito Mannone, Fabio Borini and Billy Jones; Steven Pienaar and Lee Cattermole both face late fitness tests.
