Tottenham Hotspur have quietly established themselves as one of the Premier League's form sides, with Mauricio Pochettino having won five consecutive league games and six in all competitions. They've moved within two points of second-place Liverpool and nine of league leaders Chelsea. After a slight wobble, they're looking back to their best.

Two of the Premier League’s in-form teams meet at White Hart Lane in Saturday’s early kickoff.

They'll hope to maintain their head of steam when they play host to West Bromwich Albion in Saturday's early kickoff. However, the match could prove more difficult than anticipated. The Baggies are enjoying an excellent season under Tony Pulis, and head in on the back of two straight league wins. They're riding high in eighth place and look well on their way to safely sealing their place in the top flight for another season. They could cause an upset at White Hart Lane.

Three big things to know
1. Spurs head in with no confirmed absentees; their only early doubt is Argentine winger Erik Lamela, who will have to prove his fitness after a hip injury. Coach Pochettino should be able to field a full-strength lineup.
2. West Brom, however, are likely to be without both Saido Berahino and Allan Nyom. The former is still getting back to match fitness after an absence, while the Baggies are awaiting international clearance after the latter pulled out of Cameroon's Africa Cup of Nations squad. Chris Brunt and Jonny Evans both face late fitness tests.
3. Six of the last nine meetings between these sides have ended in draws. The reverse fixture at The Hawthorns was one such occasion, when Dele Alli netted an 89th-minute equalizer for the visitors, seven minutes after former Spurs man Nacer Chadli had given the Baggies the lead.
