Manchester United vs. Liverpool is the English Premier League’s biggest derby match, and it returns on Sunday.

The first edition of the northwest derby didn’t live up to its billing, thanks to an international break and a ton of injuries for both teams. Playing at Anfield, with Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic still adjusting to life in England, Jose Mourinho opted to play one of his classic defensive games. It worked, and his team earned a 0-0 draw.

No one should expect Mourinho to let his team play a wide-open style in a big game, but we can expect things to get a bit more interesting in Old Trafford. Not only are United at home, but Pogba and Ibrahimovic are in excellent form. United has reason to believe they can score multiple goals and win the match even if they concede.

But despite a slip-up against Sunderland last week, Liverpool is still having a better season than their rivals. Roberto Firmino, Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson are having the best years of their careers. And while Sadio Mane is away at the Africa Cup of Nations, Philippe Coutinho is available for selection again after returning from injury.

United also has a player missing through AFCON, with Eric Bailly having joined up with the Ivory Coast national team. They’re also sweating the fitness of Marcos Rojo, who picked up a slight muscle strain last week.
