Bournemouth vs. Arsenal 2017: Start time, live stream, TV schedule, and 3 things to know

Title chasers Arsenal travel to play mid-table Bournemouth on Tuesday.

Consecutive defeats to Everton and Manchester City in December dealt a blow to Arsenal's title hopes, though they've recovered with back-to-back victories over West Bromwich Albion and Crystal Palace. The Gunners will look to make it three in a row when they travel to Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium on Tuesday, knowing a win would provisionally move them within six points of league leaders Chelsea.

Bournemouth could, however, offer a sterner test than Arsène Wenger would like. The Cherries have lost just three of their nine matches in front of their home fans so far this season, and find themselves in a comfortable mid-table position as the second half of the season begins. Though Arsenal are certainly favourites, their hosts aren’t likely to be pushovers.

Three big things to know

1. Bournemouth will still be without Marc Pugh and Lewis Cook, though should otherwise have a full-strength team available. Arsenal's injury list is longer: Mathieu Debuchy, Santi Cazorla and Per Mertesacker are all certain to miss out, though Mesut Özil, Kieran Gibbs, Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain could all be involved.

2. Arsenal have won all three meetings since Bournemouth made their top-flight debut last season. They ran out 3-1 winners in the reverse fixture back in November, with Alexis Sánchez netting a brace at the Emirates.

3. Both of these sides have scored a disproportionate number of goals in the final 15 minutes of league matches this season: 30.8 percent of Bournemouth’s, and a whopping 34.1 percent of Arsenal’s. Don’t be tempted to switch off before the final whistle.
