They’d do well to achieve anything other than a heavy defeat away at Anfield. Expect manager Derek Adams to pack men behind the ball and hope that Plymouth can nick it on the counter-attack.

1. Liverpool will be without Danny Ings and Cameron Brannagan, while a whole host of other first teamers are in doubt. Among them are Philippe Coutinho, Joël Matip, Jordan Henderson, Daniel Sturridge and James Milner. It would be a surprise if any featured on Sunday.
2. Plymouth will look to take full advantage of Liverpool's enforced rotation, with Derek Adams expected to field a full-strength side at Anfield.
3. Liverpool goalkeeping legend Bruce Grobbelaar is one of several players to have turned out for both clubs, having spent a short stint with the Pilgrims after departing Merseyside. Another player to wear both shirts is Tommy Tynan, who is widely regarded as Argyle’s greatest ever player.
