World Cup qualification has certainly seen its share of drama over the past year, with numerous big and surprising countries failing to qualify. While neither of these teams would fall under that category — they have a combined total of seven appearances between them — there have been high expectations on this qualifying cycle from fans of both Denmark and Ireland from the get-go.
