Bayern Munich vs. PSG 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Champions League online

Both teams are already through to the knockout rounds, but Bayern have a humiliating loss to avenge.

Both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are already set for spots in the Champions League knockout rounds, but as the two megateams get set to square off for the second time this season there’s still plenty at stake. That’s because with a big enough win, Bayern can leapfrog PSG to win Group B — and more importantly, avenge the humiliating 3-0 loss they suffered as PSG’s hands earlier in the group stage.

That was a loss that had helped serve hasten the end of Carlo Ancelotti’s reign at Bayern Munich — indeed, it was his final match in charge after a deeply disappointing start to the season in Munich. Legendary Bayern manager Jupp Heynckes took the reigns again after that, and Bayern won their next nine matches in all competitions before finally losing a match to Borussia Mönchengladbach a little over a week ago. They’ve been in fantastic form overall, though, and it’s been a huge turnaround for the Bavarians of late.

They need to win big in order to leapfrog PSG and finish first, though — they need a four-goal victory in order to get the job done, and even though PSG lost in surprising fashion this weekend, that’s still a tall order. In point of fact, the French team hasn’t even given up more than two goals in a single match so far this season, and even that has only happened four times. They’ll have the crowd of the Allianz Arena at their backs, but it’s going to be a long road to glory for Bayern if they’re going to achieve what they want in this match.

Bayern Munich is going after their mission with three likely starters out, as Juan Bernat, Arjen Robben, and Thiago Alcántara are all sidelined with injuries. Paris Saint-Germain are without one starter with Thiago Motta injured, and key centerback Marquinhos is a doubt as well with a knock that’s slowed him in training.
