Chelsea vs. Atlético Madrid 2017 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Champions League online

Atlético Madrid are fighting for their Champions League future, while Chelsea just want to win the group.

There’s not a lot left in the Champions League group stage, but Group C still has a lot of things to settle. First place is up for grabs, with Chelsea only narrowly holding onto their lead atop the group, and with Atlético Madrid still clinging onto hope of qualifying for the knockout rounds.

This match between them in England to close out the group stage is going to carry a lot of weight and meaning because of those stakes, and it’s going to be an interesting match.

What’s going to make it even better is that both teams are in fantastic form, with both Chelsea and Atlético having won five of their last six matches. Antonio Conte has Chelsea humming along again after a spell of tough injuries and poor form, and Diego Simeone as seemed to pull Atléti out of their early-season doldrums of going through draw after draw after draw.

Those doldrums were on full display earlier this season when these two teams met for the first time in the group stage, when Chelsea came back from a 1-0 halftime deficit to beat Atlético, 2-1, in Madrid. Atléti have found their feet since then, though, so the Blues can’t expect as easy a win as that was this time around — and fans will certainly enjoy a better match in London.

Fortunately for both teams, they’re in fairly good health — Chelsea are only missing David Luiz, while Atlético Madrid are only potentially without Juanfran, as he’s considered an injury doubt and may not quite be fit to play.
