The UEFA Champions League has returned from its winter break, and 16 teams remain. All of the favorites remain — Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Bayern Munich, the winners of the last four competitions, are all still around and the favorites in their ties.
Champions League 2017: Schedule, scores, and more for Round of 16 games
Everything you need to know about the Champions League Round of 16.
Madrid finished second in their group, but got a minor break by drawing Napoli. There are no easy wins for anyone at this point in the competition, but the draw could have turned out much worse for them. Barca has a tough Round of 16 opponent in Paris Saint-Germain, while Bayern Munich faces off against Arsenal, who have struggled to progress past this stage in recent years.
The first leg of Barcelona vs. PSG kicks off the round on Tuesday, alongside Benfica vs. Borussia Dortmund. On Wednesday, Real Madrid takes on Napoli, while Bayern Munich faces Arsenal. The other four ties get underway the next week, and the Round of 16 will wrap up on March 15.
All games kick off at 2:45 p.m. ET and can be seen in the United States on Fox’s streaming platforms, Fox Sports Go and Fox Soccer 2 Go.
