This season isn’t going to plan for either team taking the pitch at the King Power Stadium on Monday. Visiting Liverpool were hoping to make a real title challenge and have flirted with it at times, but stretches of poor form have seen them slip out of the top four and hopelessly too many points away from Chelsea to have a real chance at mounting that challenge.
Leicester City vs. Liverpool 2017 live stream: Start time, TV channel, and how to watch online
Liverpool won’t be looking to show any mercy to embattled Leicester on Monday.

Then there’s host Leicester City, who shocked the world when they won the EPL last season — and then were so poor this year that they ultimately fired manager Claudio Ranieri this week, to the shock and upset of many.
The sudden change atop Leicester’s team is leaving many to wonder what will happen to the relegation-threatened side from here. Craig Shakespeare is the interim manager, and the longtime assistant manager for the Foxes will hope to find some kind of magic to upset the odds and keep his beleaguered team up to avoid relegation.
That’s going to be difficult to manage, though, especially with teams like Liverpool on their schedule. The Reds are coming off a two-week break in action with time to rest, recharge, and plan for the weeks ahead after a grueling run of form in January. Liverpool are buoyed somewhat, though, by a win over Tottenham before their little break, and they’ll know that aggressive play and an early goal or two against Leicester could be enough to break the will of the reeling club and secure an easy and much-needed win.
