Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal both had chances to reduce Chelsea's lead at the top of the Premier League table in midweek, though neither of the North London clubs capitalised. As a result, the Blues are still nine points clear heading into their match at home to the Gunners on Saturday, with Arsène Wenger's men looking to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to relegation-threatened Watford.

Arsenal will look to reduce Chelsea’s advantage at the top of the table on Saturday.

Chelsea have won all but one of their home games in the league so far this season -- a record more impressive than anyone else’s in the division. They’re sure to feel confident taking on an Arsenal side whose mental strength is once again being called into question after a couple of disappointing results. If the Gunners are to remain in the title race, they could really do with a win away at Stamford Bridge.

Three big things to know
1. Chelsea's only potential absentee is David Luiz, who has been suffering with a knee injury for a while. However, it's not likely to be enough to keep him out of the team; winger Eden Hazard is also set to play through the pain barrier having picked up a knock against Leicester a few weeks ago.
2. Arsenal haven't been so lucky on the injury front: Santi Cazorla, Mathieu Debuchy, and Aaron Ramsey are all certain to miss this one as they remain on the treatment table. Granit Xhaka is suspended, while his midfield counterpart Mohamed Elneny will also miss out: he's currently away at the Africa Cup of Nations with Egypt.
3. Arsenal haven’t won away at Stamford Bridge since October 2011, when André Villas-Boas was the man on the home dugout. A Robin van Persie hat-trick sealed victory for the Gunners, who finished the season in third place, three places above Chelsea.
