Fortunately, Tottenham seem to be in a good position to deal with the pressure of the situation. They’re also just a flat-out better team than Middlesbrough, which always helps.
But Middlesbrough have found a decent run of form for the first time this season, winning two of their last five and only losing one in that span. They’ve looked better than they have all season, and if there’s any time for them to knock Tottenham down a peg or two, now is the time. Unfortunately, they’ve only won on the road once all season, meaning they’re going to have to be at their best to make this work.
