Manchester United vs. Bournemouth 2017: Game time, TV schedule, and how to watch online

Manchester United need to keep their momentum ticking so they can start slugging it out in the battle for second place.

Manchester United come into the weekend finding themselves on the edge of the chase for second place in the English Premier League, and that offers them an incredible opportunity as they prepare for their match against AFC Bournemouth: win, and they could find themselves just two points behind Tottenham Hotspur.

Of course, that depends on a number of other results, but the key is that no matter what else happens, as long as United win they can stay, at worst, on the fringes of the battle for second. If even a couple of results in other matches go their way this weekend, United could vault from sixth to fourth, putting them into the Champions League places they so desperately covet.

For their part, Bournemouth are desperately trying to stay clear of the relegation zone — they sit in 14th place, but are just four narrow points clear of Crystal Palace in the drop zone right now. Making matters worse is that the Cherries haven’t won since before the new year, marking two full months of bad results, seeing them earn just two points in seven league matches. That’s an unsustainably poor run, and they need to find some positive answers fast if they’re going to stay out of the relegation battle.
