Juventus vs. Monaco 2017: Start time, TV schedule for Champions League semifinal

Monaco have a steep mountain to climb if they’re to make the Champions League final.

Monaco will have to pull off a great comeback if they’re to make it into the Champions League final. They head into Tuesday’s semifinal second leg away at Juventus 2-0 down, having allowed Gonzalo Higuaín to net a brace in the reverse fixture in the principality last week. Juve, boasting bags of experience and one of the finest defences in world football, are unlikely to let such a healthy lead slip.

That said, there are a couple of reasons that Monaco will still have hope. The first is that this has been a frantic season of Champions League football, and stranger things have happened than a 2-0 lead being overturned. What’s more, Monaco have been one of the most dangerous attacking sides in the tournament, and will head into the tie with nothing to lose. Leonardo Jardim’s men certainly should not be underestimated.

Juventus will be without long-term absentee Marko Pjaca, while young defender Daniele Rugani faces a late fitness test. Coach Allegri will be able to name a full-strength team. Monaco will certainly be without Gabriel Boschilia and Almamy Touré; Benjamin Mendy is doubtful.
