Real Madrid vs. PSG 2018 live stream: Time, TV schedule, and how to watch Champions League online

Real Madrid are getting back into form, but will it be enough to take down the modern-day Galácticos from Paris?

Once upon a time, Real Madrid were the Galácticos. Loaded with superstars, they were the big fish in the European football pond. Even in recent years, while their star power hasn’t quite been on that level, it’s still been enough to help them to three Champions League title in four years, a run of Champions League dominance rarely seen during the course of the competition’s history. Now, though, there are new Galácticos in town — and they’re Real Madrid’s round of 16 opponents, Paris Saint-Germain.

Led by a fearsome attacking trident of Neymar, Kylian Mbappé, and Edinson Cavani, PSG steamrolled their way through their Champions League group, including a shocking 3-0 win over Bayern Munich early in the round. They’ve also lost just two games in Ligue 1 action this season and dropped points two other times, scoring a jaw-dropping 76 goals through 25 league matches so far this season. That’s more than more teams score in a full league season, and we’re barely past the halfway mark.

Real Madrid have a massively talented squad of their own, but they’ve shown their age at times this season, a campaign that’s gone far from according to plan so far. Their form has been better of late, but with a defense that’s been a step slow at times and has struggled with fitness all season — plus arguably their best performer this season in Dani Carvajal is out suspended — this could be a long day for the Merengues as they look to get back to the Champions League final once more.
