Liverpool had a lot of fun in the first leg of their Champions League Round of 16 tie against FC Porto, heading down to Portugal and dominating to the tune of a 5-0 thrashing that all but ended the tie then and there.

But there’s still another 90 minutes to play at Anfield, and Liverpool will want to continue their good form and not relent on Porto. They’re expected to rotate heavily, but they still have the depth in attack to score several more goals, and we could see Liverpool try to run out the scoreline a lot longer just for the sake of fun.

Porto have been in much better form since their loss, but with the huge deficit and a team starting to get a bit thin with injury, they’re not going to be too hopeful of turning this around. Still, we’ve seen huge leads evaporate in a hurry in the Champions League before, and we know that Porto won’t give up on this match yet. A couple of first-half goals from the visitors could completely shift the tone and dynamic of the match, and force Liverpool to buckle down and grind things out if they want to make the quarter finals.
