Once again, we’ve gone through a World Cup day without a scoreless match. We didn’t even get close on Day 6 — 10 goals were scored on Tuesday, with each match having at least three. They were a bit wacky too, with plenty of own goals, penalties and set pieces. This World Cup is currently on pace to shatter the OG and penalty records.

10. Ahmed Fathy’s own goal

Feels bad man.

9. Thiago Cionek’s own goal

This one is marginally more unlucky than the other OG.

8. Shinji Kagawa’s penalty

A solid pen, no doubt, but it’s not quite up to the standard of...

7. Mohamed Salah’s penalty

Pick that out.

6. Juan Fernando Quintero’s free kick

Going under the wall is clever, but this one really should be saved.

5. Grzegorz Krychowiak’s set piece header

Well-placed, for sure, but it didn’t have the gravity of the goals it’s behind.

4. Artem Dzyuba’s close-range finish

Russia was spectacular against Egypt, and the big 6’5” target man will love showing everyone he’s got good feet too.

3. Yūya Ōsako’s game-winning header

Call this bad defense if you want but Ōsako fights hard to win the ball, and it was a match-winner too.

2. Denis Cheryshev finishes off a gorgeous team move

By far the best team move of the day. It’s probably a better goal than the one it’s behind. But we have to take uniqueness into account here, so...

1. M’Baye Niang tricks everyone

The ol’ coming back in off an injury trick. Poland’s defenders had no idea that the referee had waved Niang back on the pitch, and were totally baffled when he capitalized on their mistake.
