Here’s Cristiano Ronaldo being really nice to an injured Edinson Cavani

We’re sure he had no ulterior motives.

Uruguay’s Edinson Cavani injured his leg late in his team’s Knockout Round World Cup match against Portugal, and was politely escorted off the field by the grace of Cristiano Ronaldo and his supersized thighs.

This was a classy move from the Portugal striker while his team was trailing, 1-0 — even if he might have had other motivations to just quickly get him off the field to resume the game.

We’ll give him the benefit of the doubt and say this was out of kindness, though.

Hooray for sportsmanship.
