The Eagles entered their bye week on the heels of a win, defeating the Jacksonville Jaguars 24-18 on the road. That win improved Philadelphia’s record to 4-4 SU and 3-5 ATS through the first half of the season.
Philadelphia has looked nothing like the team that dominated the NFL to the tune of a 16-3 SU and 13-6 ATS record en route to a Super Bowl victory in 2017 this year, but thanks to the weakness of the NFC East, the team is still very much alive in the hunt for a playoff spot.
Philadelphia has struggled at home against the Cowboys in recent years with a 1-5 SU and ATS home record in its last six games against Dallas per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Amari Cooper caught five passes for 58 yards and a touchdown in his Cowboys debut last week, but his performance wasn’t enough to help Dallas overcome an anemic night on offense in a 28-14 home loss to the Tennessee Titans. Dallas fell to 3-5 SU and ATS with the loss and has now lost three of its last four games overall.
The decision to trade a first round pick for Cooper was already a head-scratcher at the deadline, but it will wind up being a disastrous decision if the Cowboys don’t find a way to make it to the postseason.
Sunday night’s total is set at 43.5 points. The UNDER is 13-4 in Dallas’ last 17 games overall and 7-3 in the last 10 games between Dallas and Philadelphia.
This is essentially a must-win game for both of these teams, but that is especially true for Dallas. Falling two games behind the Eagles in the standings with only seven games left would be too much for Dallas to overcome down the stretch, and the team would have to start making some tough decisions on the futures of coach Jason Garrett and quarterback Dak Prescott.
