Steelers betting favorites vs. rival Ravens in Sunday night game

The Pittsburgh Steelers look to continue their dominance over division rivals with a win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday night, hosting them as small betting favorites.

The Pittsburgh Steelers are 10-0-1 straight up in their last 11 games against AFC North rivals despite going just 0-4 against the spread over their last four games of this stretch. The Steelers will try to extend this unbeaten streak to 12 games this Sunday night at home against the Baltimore Ravens.

Pittsburgh is a 3-point home favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. In their last six games at home the Steelers are 0-6 ATS.

Pittsburgh Steelers

The Steelers finally found their way into the win column last Monday night, jumping out to an early lead on the road against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and then holding on for a 30-27 win.

Pittsburgh tied its first game 21-21 against Cleveland and lost its second game 42-37 to Kansas City. With Le’Veon Bell showing no signs of ending his holdout, the Steelers press on and will play one of the most important games on their schedule this Sunday night without him.

This head-to-head rivalry has been one of the most competitive and evenly matched ones in the league over the last 15 years. Both teams are 15-15 SU in their last 30 games against one another with Baltimore holding the slight ATS edge at 15-12-3 per the OddsShark NFL Database.

Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore entered the 2018 season with a 10-3 SU record over its last 13 home games and a 4-9 record over its last 13 road games. So perhaps it should come as no surprise that the Ravens are off to a 2-0 SU and ATS start at home and an 0-1 SU and ATS start on the road so far this season.

The Ravens seem to have their most explosive offense in years this season averaging 32.3 points per game through their first three games, but the team will need to start earning big wins on the road if it hopes to return to the playoffs for the first time since the 2014 season.

Sunday night’s total is set at 50.5 points. The OVER is 6-2 in Baltimore’s last eight games on the road.

Four of the last six games between these two teams have been decided by four points or less. Sunday night’s showdown is likely to be another tight one with potentially major playoff implications down the road.
