Milwaukee Bucks Notes
As the Bucks keep racking up wins, their position in the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference continues to solidify. The room for error is still slim with Toronto breathing down their necks, but the Bucks have opened up a 2.5-game lead for the conference’s top seed.
Nicola Mirotic has ramped up his playing time in each of Milwaukee’s last four games and should be ready to contribute at full strength in March.
The Bucks have been sensational on the road with a 9-0 SU and 8-1 ATS record in their last nine games away from home per the OddsShark NBA Database.
Los Angeles Lakers Notes
Los Angeles picked up a much-needed win in a 125-119 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday despite failing to cover the spread for the third straight game as 6.5-point favorites.
Now the Lakers will need to start stringing some wins together, something that they haven’t been able to do of late with an 0-5 SU and 2-3 ATS record in their last five games coming off of a win. The Lakers still sit three games out of a playoff spot heading into Friday’s action.
Bucks at Lakers Betting Total
Friday night’s total is set at 236.5 points at online betting sites. The UNDER is 5-2 in Milwaukee’s last seven games.
Lonzo Ball’s injury has kept the young point guard out since January, and he won’t be evaluated again for another week. The Lakers will need to figure things out without him, especially on defense where they’ve allowed 122.1 points per game over their last 11 games.
The current state of play in the defensive zone doesn’t bode well in this one with the high-powered Bucks coming to town.
