The Clippers entered the postseason as 100/1 underdogs to defeat the Warriors in this best-of-seven series. They still need three more upsets to pull that feat off, but suddenly after Game 2 the result of this series no longer feels like a foregone conclusion.
Los Angeles trailed the Warriors 94-63 with 7:31 left to go in the third quarter before mounting its remarkable comeback. Lou Williams led the way with 36 points and 11 assists coming off of the bench.

Golden State Warriors Notes
Golden State coasted to a 121-104 win in Game 1 and looked to be well on their way to another easy victory before the major collapse. Even after this loss, the Warriors are still 17-3 SU and 11-9 ATS over their last 20 games against the Clippers.
The team could easily just shake Game 2 off as a fluke and get back to dominating in Game 3, but it will be interesting to see if there are any residual effects from the upset present in the team’s psyche.

Despite how shocking and headline grabbing Game 2 was, it still only counts as one game. But now that Los Angeles has shown some resiliency and proven that no lead is safe, this series did become a whole lot more interesting.
