The Blue Jackets were outscored 10-4 through the first three games of a four-game road trip that started on March 16, losing all three games to fall five points back of a wild card spot.
Since then, Columbus has looked like a completely different team, outscoring its opponents 24-4 over this current winning streak. Sergei Bobrovsky has a save percentage of .971 with three shutouts over his last five games. Columbus is now one point ahead of Carolina and two points ahead of Montreal with three games remaining in all three teams’ seasons.

Boston Bruins Notes
Boston tore through the month of February and early March with a 13-0-1 record, picking up their only loss over that stretch on the road in a shootout against St. Louis. Since that run, the Bruins have come back down to earth with a 5-5 record over their last 10 games.
With only three games left in the regular season and a four-point lead over the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Bruins will in all likelihood have home ice in a first-round series against Toronto next week; but they’d love to seal that home ice and snap out of this current 1-3 slump before the regular season comes to a close on Saturday.

Tuesday night’s total is set at 5.5 goals at online betting sites. The OVER is 8-1 in the last nine games between Boston and Columbus.
On paper this looks like a pretty even matchup. But with the zone that Bobrovsky has been in down the stretch and the Blue Jackets playing for their postseason lives, it will be hard to go against Columbus in this one.
