Toronto Raptors Betting Notes

After falling behind two games to none in the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks, Toronto switched gears and completely took over the series. The Raptors held Giannis Antetokounmpo and the dynamic Bucks offense to just 97.8 regulation points per game over the last four games of the series going a perfect 4-0 SU and ATS over that stretch.

Kawhi Leonard enters the NBA Finals as the best player in this postseason averaging 31.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game through 18 games.

The Raptors are 3-5 SU and ATS in their last eight games as a betting favorite of 2.5 points or less per the OddsShark NBA Database.

Golden State Warriors Betting Notes

When Kevin Durant left Game 5 against the Houston Rockets with a calf injury, the basketball world suddenly felt like Houston had a great shot at pulling off a series upset over Golden State.

Instead, the Warriors held on to win that game and have since gone 5-0 SU and 3-1-1 ATS, averaging 115.4 points per game over that stretch. Stephen Curry is 15-2 SU in 17 career games against the Raptors and the Warriors are 18-1 SU in their last 19 series openers including 12 straight Game 1 wins.

Warriors at Raptors Betting Total

Thursday night’s total is set at 213.5 points at sports betting sites. The OVER is 4-1 in the last five games that Toronto has hosted Golden State.

Kevin Durant traveled with the team to Toronto, but has been ruled out for Game 1 and isn’t expected back until Game 3 at the earliest. With Durant still sidelined and home court advantage, the Raptors would love to take early control of this series and give the Warriors something to worry about with a win on Thursday.
