Vanderbilt Athletes are student-athletes at Vanderbilt University who, for unexplained reasons, make viral videos and post them on the Internet under some kind of assuming that good will come from it.
Origin
Vanderbilt Athlete Videos began when five members of the Vanderbilt University baseball team decided to film themselves in their underwear and spoke with lisps to promote the school’s Black and Gold Banquet. That video has since been excised from YouTube. For the best, really.
Notable Derivatives
The only thing that could possibly top the previous efforts would be a parody of Rebecca Black’s Friday a full month after that meme went stale while using autotune and making disturbing motions with their bodies.
