Don’t Come Between Novak Djokovic And His Poodle

The world’s best tennis players have a lot on their mind this week as they fight and claw their way through Wimbledon. The stresses of the tournament can be unbearable...and that’s before someone says you can’t bring your poodle with you.

Novak Djokovic, the world’s second best tennis player, is currently “in distress” after being told he cannot bring his pet poodle Pierre with him to Wimbledon.

The dog, to whom he is devoted, has been an ever present during the European clay court season, which Djokovic dominated until losing for the only time this year in the French Open semi-finals.

Pierre was even spotted in Paris, sat on a cushion at a table cafe next to the tennis player who fed him noodles.

Because you're wondering...

1. This is Pierre.

2. This is Pierre's Twitterfeed.

Now imagine Novak Djokovic losing in the Wimbledon finals because he's too frazzled thinking about his poodle, because it's going to happen. And then he's going to tweet the thoughts of said poodle, which will invariably include "woof."
