Wimbledon looked like it’d be hotly contested after the first set between Novak Djokovic and Jo-Wilfried Tsonga needed to go to a tie-break to determine the winner. Djokovic seemingly found his stride in the second set of the semifinal match-up, however, taking it 6-2 with a nearly mistake-free set.

Djokovic committed just three unforced errors won 16 of his 19 serve attempts in the second set, leading to a rather commanding lead for the Serbian. He closed out the final game with a 40-0 victory.
Djokovic is 82-4 in majors when winning first set, as noted during the first set analysis, but Tsonga’s certainly shown that he can beat the streak after dispatching Roger Federer earlier in the week.
In the second set, Djokovic’s statistics put him in elite company as he went 5-for-5 on net approaches and 2-for-2 on break point conversions and doing well in everything else while holding Tsonga to just 3-of-19 on receiving points despite just one ace.
