French Open Results: Rafael Nadal Dominates To Reach Quarterfinals
Rafael Nadal advanced to the quarterfinals at the 2012 French Open with a dominant 6-2, 6-0, 6-0, win over No. 13 Juan Monaco on Monday.

Nadal was taken to break point just twice during the match, both times in the second set, but Monaco couldn’t convert. Nadal, meanwhile, went 8-for-10 on break point opportunities. Monaco won his first two sets serving, taking a 2-1 lead in the first set. He would not challenge again as Nadal looked like the superior player in every respect. Nadal won 83 of 126 total points played.
Considering the early struggles of No. 3 Roger Federer and No. 1 Novak Djokovic on Sunday, you will probably find few people betting against Nadal to win his record seventh career French Open title at the moment.
