2012 BB&T Atlanta Open: Ryan Harrison, James Blake In Action Tuesday

The 2012 BB&T Atlanta Open begins its first round on Tuesday, and the ATP event will have a few big-name Americans hitting the court.

The day’s headline match is one between veteran James Blake and No. 6 seed and rising star Ryan Harrison, both Americans. Harrison turned 20 in May, and will play singles for the American team in the London Olympics. Blake, 32, has reached three Grand Slam quarterfinals and reached the No. 4 ranking in the world once, but has not won an ATP event since 2007.

In the other two matches on the Stadium Court, No. 8 seed Go Soeda of Japan will take on Xavier Malisse, who pushed Roger Federer to four sets at Wimbledon, in the day’s first match, and Rajeev Ram will face Ruben Bemelmans in the nightcap.
