Davis Cup 2012 Semifinals, USA Vs. Spain: TV Schedule, Match Times And More

Previewing one of the two semifinals matches at the 2012 Davis Cup.

The semifinals portion of the 2012 Davis Cup will feature the United States and Spain battling for a spot in the championship two months from now. On the other side of the bracket, Argentina faces off against the Czech Republic.

The U.S. features John Isner, Sam Querrey and twin brothers Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan, with Jim Courier serving as the team captain. Spain has David Ferrer and Nicolas Almagro as their two singles players, with Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez teaming up for doubles play. Alex Corretja is their team captain.

Semifinals play will begin on Friday, Sept. 14th. They will run through Sunday, Sept. 16th.

Match Schedule:

Round 1 - No. 5 David Ferrer vs. No. 26 Sam Querrey

Round 2 - No. 12 Nicolas Almagro vs. No. 10 John Isner

Round 3 - Marcel Granollers and Marc Lopez vs. No. 1 Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan

Round 4 - David Ferrer vs. John Isner

Round 5 - Nicolas Almagro vs. Sam Querrey
