The men’s singles semifinal at the 2012 U.S. Open is underway after a brief rain delay, with third-seeded Andy Murray taking on No. 6 seed Tomas Berdych. That match will be followed by the other semifinal match, No. 2 Novak Djokovic facing off with fourth-seeded David Ferrer. The forecast for Arthur Ashe Stadium in Flushing, NY isn’t encouraging, however, with scattered thunderstorms forecast throughout the afternoon and into the evening.
