The Australian Open, the year’s first Grand Slam tennis tournament, gets going on Sunday from Melbourne, Australia, with several big names on both the men’s and women’s sides looking for a title to start 2013.

The Australian Open gets started on Sunday evening with Novak Djokovic looking for a third straight men’s singles title. Make sure you don’t miss a minute of the action.


Two-time defending men’s singles champion Novak Djokovic will be the top seed and faces Paul-Henri Mathieu in the first round. Roger Federer and Andy Murray both landed on the other side of the field, partially clearing the path for Djokovic.
Victoria Azarenka holds the top spot for the women. She gets Monica Niculescu first and is on track for a potential semifinal match with Serena Williams. Williams has defeated Azarenka 11 out of 12 times.
