Victoria Azarenka will try to win her second straight Australian Open title when she meets Li Na in the tournament finals.

Azarenka began her march to the finals with wins in the opening rounds over Monica Niculescu and Eleni Daniilidou. She needed three sets to defeat Jamie Hampton in the third round and dispatched Elena Vesnina in straight sets to advance to the quarterfinals. Azarenka moved into the semis with a win over Svetlana Kuznetsova and moved on to the finals after ending Sloane Stephens’ run through the tournament.

Li Na has enjoyed similar success needing three sets in only one of her matches. She moved past Sesil Karatantcheva and Olga Govortsova in the opening two rounds and Sorana Cirstea and Julia Goerges to advance to the tournament quarterfinals. There, Li defeated Agnieszka Radwanska in straight sets and shocked Maria Sharapova in the semifinals.

Li won the French Open in 2011, but hasn’t advanced past the fourth round since.
