Davis Cup 2013, first round: TV schedule and matches for Day 1

The United States faces Brazil in the first round of the Davis Cup over the weekend.

The Davis Cup begins in full this weekend, as the United States begins the tournament against Brazil in Jacksonville, Fla., on Friday afternoon.

American Sam Querrey plays first, facing Thomaz Bellucci in round one. Querrey is the 20th-ranked singles player, while Bellucci is No. 36. Round two features John Isner -- the 16th-ranked singles player -- taking on Thiago Alves, who ranks in at No. 141.

In round three, doubles play takes the court, with the top-ranked duo of Mike and Bob Bryan going against the Brazilian combo of Marcelo Melo and Bruno Soares. Singles play returns to the fourth round, as Isner takes on Bellucci. To wrap up, the fifth round features Querrey taking on Alves.

On Friday and Saturday, matches begin at 2 p.m. ET in Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. Sunday, however, play starts at noon.
