BNP Paribas Open 2013 results: Novak Djokovic, Juan Martin Del Potro victorious in quarterfinals
The ATP Singles semifinals are now set, after both Novak Djokovic and Juan Martin Del Potro won their matches on Friday.

Friday saw some very impressive tennis, and two very different matches. First, No. 1 Novak Djokovic took on No. 8 Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and absolutely dominated. Djokovic broke Tsonga four times and took the match by a score of 6-3, 6-1. It took just 54 minutes for the Djokovic to extend his winning streak to 22 matches, dating back to Oct. 31.
In the other quarterfinal matchup of the day, No. 3 Andy Murray fell to No. 7 Juan Martin Del Potro in three sets. Murray won a tight tiebreak in the opening set, but Del Potro comfortably took the second set. In the third set, he went up a break point on Murray but almost was broken himself, as Murray held the advantage at multiple points.
Del Potro was able to come through, though. He fought back to hold serve to go up 3-1 in the third set, and then broke Murray to take a commanding 4-1 lead. He then held serve, and broke Murray again to take the strong 6-7(5-7), 6-3, 6-1 victory.
