Day 4 of the 2013 Sony Open is well underway, with the second round of the ATP Singles in full force. Many of the top seeds were already in action on Saturday, and unlike Friday when No. 5 Juan Martin Del Potro was eliminated, there haven’t been any upsets.

No. 2 seed Andy Murray passed his first test of the tournament, making short work of unseeded Bernard Tomic, 6-3, 6-1. Murray was able to wrap up that match in just over 56 minutes. No. 6 seed Jo-Wilfried Tsonga had a bit of a tougher time with Viktor Troicki, but Tsonga was able to win the first set tiebreak and ultimately the match, 7-6(6), 6-3.

Other notable players in action were No. 4 Tomas Berdych, who took down Daniel Gimeno-Traver after a slow start, 5-7, 7-6(3), 6-2, and No. 8 Richard Gasquet, who took down qualifier Olivier Rochus, 7-5, 6-2. Also winning on the day were No. 10 Nicolas Almagro, No. 17 Sam Querrey and No. 18 Philipp Kohlschreiber.

There are still some bigger names in action on Saturday for the ATP, including No. 25 Fernando Verdasco and No. 14 Milos Raonic.

On the WTA Singles side, No. 4 Agnieszka Radwanska was pushed to three sets but ultimately bested Magdalena Rybarikova, 7-6(5), 2-6, 6-3. No. 7 Petra Kvitova took down No. 30 Kirsten Flipkens in a bizarre match that saw Flipkens take the first set 6-0, but ultimately fade for a 0-6, 6-4, 6-4 win for Kvitova.

No. 19 Venus Williams withdrew from her matchup against No. 16 Sloane Stephens with a lower back injury. Her sister, Serena, is the No. 1 seed and is currently in action.
