We haven’t seen too many surprises so far at the 2013 Sony Open. Aside from Juan Martin del Potro losing first round and Victoria Azarenka withdrawing with injury, both the men’s and women’s top seeds remain intact.
Sony Open Tennis 2013: Serena Williams, Andy Murray in action Monday
The men’s draw wraps up third-round play, while the women’s field gets Round 4 underway. Take a look at the schedule for Monday at the 2013 Sony Open.

Top-seeded Serena Williams will take the court Monday to get the fourth round started in WTA play. No. 2 seed Andy Murray will be the top ATP player on the court, finishing up the men’s third-round action. Here are some of the more notable matches.
Stadium Court, first matches starting at 11 a.m.
No. 1 Serena Williams vs. No. 13 Dominika Cibulkova
In the second match of the day on Stadium Court, Williams looks to continue her run against a rather unfamiliar opponent. The two only faced once in their careers, as Williams took down Cibulkova in straight sets at 2010 Wimbledon. After pulling out of the BNP Paribas Open, we’re seeing a healthier Williams easily move through this tournament so far.
No. 2 Andy Murray vs. No. 29 Grigor Dimitrov
Murray beat Dimitrov in straight sets at the final of the ATP Brisbane International to kick off the year. While the No. 2 seed easily defeated Bernard Tomic in his first match, Dimitrov had a shortened match, as Simone Bolleli retired. Will more rest give him an edge? It’s doubtful.
No. 20 John Isner vs. No. 9 Marin Cilic, not before 7:30 p.m.
The first juggernaut matchup at Key Biscayne features the top-ranked American in the world at No. 23. Isner is 0-2 all time against Cilic, but they haven’t faced off since the 2012 ATP World Tour Masters in Madrid. At 6-6 overall in 2013, Isner isn’t having his best start to a season.
No. 3 Maria Sharapova vs. No. 21 Klara Zakopalova, not before 9 p.m.
Sharapova won 6-3, 6-3 over Zakopalova back in February at the Qatar Total Open. After dominating the field in her title run at Indian Wells, one has to imagine Sharapova picking up another easy win here with the way she’s playing right now.
