Wimbledon 2013: Time, TV schedule, live streaming for Friday’s matches

UPDATE: Novak Djokovic outlasted Juan Martin del Potro in the first men’s semifinal.

With the women’s final now set, Friday will see the four remaining men face off to get the finals of their bracket set. Wednesday saw Juan Martin Del Potro, Novak Djokovic, Jerzy Janowicz and Andy Murray all advance.

Del Potro, the No. 8 seed for the tournament, bested No. 4 seed David Ferrer 6-2, 6-4, 7-6(5). He’ll take on Djokovic, who defeated No. 7 Tomas Berdych in the quarterfinals, 7-6(5), 6-4, 6-3. Del Potro defeated Djokovic in the 2012 Olympics bronze-medal match, so there’s an interesting storyline there.

Murray, the No. 2 seed, struggled in his matchup against unseeded Fernando Verdasco. Murray fell behind two sets before rallying back to take down the weary Verdasco, ultimately winning 4-6, 3-6, 6-1, 6-4, 7-5. He’ll play Janowicz, the No. 24 seed of the tournament. Janowicz took down Lukasz Kubot in the quarterfinals.

Djokovic is favored to win as the highest seed remaining, but Del Potro is always a tough go, and he’s motivated by reaching the semfinals for the first time since 2009. Janowicz is a wild card at this point, but seeing him fell Murray wouldn’t be the most shocking thing this tournament, given what’s happened thus far.
