Sunday is the penultimate day at the U.S. Open, meaning the women’s final and the men’s doubles final are both on tap. The men’s doubles finals will kick the day off, as No. 2 seeds Bruno Soares and Alexander Peya take on No. 4 seeds Leander Paes and Radek Stepanek. But the main event will be the women’s final.
2013 U.S. Open: Schedule, TV coverage and live streaming for Day 14
How to watch the women’s singles final at the U.S. Open on Sunday.

Said final will pit No. 1 seed Serena Williams against No. 2 seed Victoria Azarenka. Both have been impressive en route to the finals, but it’s Williams who is heavily favored to win the matchup. Williams and Azarenka both handled their semifinal opponents, however, with Williams easily besting No. 5 Na Li, 6-0, 6-3 and Azarenka taking down the unseeded Flavia Pennetta, 6-4, 6-2.
If Williams is victorious on Sunday, she’ll have won her fifth U.S. Open title and her 17th major overall. She’s favored to be sure, but Azarenka does have one thing going for her: she’s beaten Williams in two of their last three meetings, including both matches on hard court.
Television coverage will get underway at 12:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2 and will run through 2:30 p.m. That will cover the men’s doubles final. At 4:30 p.m., the women’s singles final will get underway on CBS and run through 7 p.m. Streaming is available through U.S. Open Live, and U.S. Open Radio is available for those who want to listen. You can also catch the men’s doubles match on WatchESPN.com.
