Wimbledon 2014: Time, TV schedule, live streaming for Thursday’s matches

Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Serena Williams will be among those in action on Thursday.

Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

The second round at Wimbledon will continue on Thursday, and most of the top seeds are still plenty intact. Wednesday saw No. 7 seed David Ferrer eliminated, having his streak of 17 consecutive appearances in Grand Slam third rounds snapped. You can read our recap of that day here.

Thursday will feature men’s No. 2 seed Rafael Nadal and No. 4 seed Roger Federer, along with women’s No. 1 seed Serena Williams. Nadal will be taking on unseeded Lukas Rosol to get the day started on Centre Court, while Federer will be taking on Gilles Muller on the same court later in the day.

Williams will get things started on No. 1 Court against Chanelle Scheepers. Simona Halep, the third seed on the women’s side, will take on Lesia Tsurenko. Other notable women in action include No. 11 Ana Ivanovic (up against unseeded Jie Zheng), No. 13 Eugenie Bouchard (up against unseeded Silvia Soler-Espinosa) and No. 9 Angelique Kerber (up against unseeded Heather Watson).

Other notable men include No. 5 Stanislas Wawrinka against Yen-Hsun Lu, No. 13 Richard Gasquet taking on unseeded Nick Kyrgios and No. 8 Milos Raonic up against unseeded American Jack Sock.

Coverage of the day’s matches will be broadcast on ESPN, beginning at 7 a.m. ET and running through 11:30 a.m. At that point, ESPNEWS will take over coverage until 4 p.m. ESPN2 will also have coverage between 2 and 3:30 p.m., so between all of those, just about everything you want to watch should be available.

If that’s not enough, WatchESPN.com will have plenty of matches available, and Wimbledon has its own live video coverage to watch as well.

TV schedule: 7-11:30 a.m. ET (ESPN), 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (ESPNEWS), 2-3:30 p.m. (ESPN2)

Live streaming: Watch Wimbledon at ESPN3.com. More live coverage can be found at Wimbledon.com.
