Top-ranked Novak Djokovic headlines the first day of U.S. Open action on Monday and with Rafael Nadal sidelined by a bum wrist, he and Roger Federer will be two favorites to win the final Grand Slam event of the year. Several question marks surrounding the stars leave the title up for grabs, however.

From Monday to Friday, action starts at 11 a.m. ET on the Tennis Channel, but ESPN will pick up coverage at 1 p.m. ESPN will take coverage to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, but every other day this week it will pass off coverage to ESPN2 at 6 p.m.

CBS and the CBS Sports Network will air third-round action on Saturday and Sunday beginning at 11 a.m. ET.

Monday action will feature second-seeded woman Simona Halep playing at Arthur Ashe Stadium at 11 a.m. Her match against American Danielle Collins will be followed by Venus Williams’ match against Japan’s Kimiko Date-Krumm. In the night session of the first round, Mario Sharapova faces fellow Russian Maria Kirilenko. On the men’s side, Djokovic will follow that with a battle against Argentinian Diego Schwartzman.

Time and TV: ESPN / WatchESPN at 1 p.m. ET (Monday through Friday), CBS at 11 a.m. ET (Saturday and Sunday)

Stream: U.S. Open Live
