No. 5 Maria Sharapova and No. 10 Caroline Wozniacki will meet in the highest-profile matchup of the 2014 U.S. Open’s first Sunday. Sharapova, who defeated Sabine Lisicki on Friday, is the highest remaining seed outside of Serena following Petra Kvitova’s surprise exit on Saturday.

No. 9 Jelena Jankovic will challenge Belinda Bencic, and No. 13 Sara Errani hopes to follow up her defeat of Venus Williams with a victory over Mirjana Lucic-Baroni, who knocked out No. 2 Simona Halep on Friday.

On the Men’s side, Sunday’s matches will be highlighted by a Roger Federer appearance against Marcel Granollers, No. 4 David Ferrer aiming to get past No. 26 Gilles Simon and No. 6 Tomas Berdych hoping to recover from Friday’s five-set marathon enough to defeat Teymuraz Gabashvili. No. 12 Richard Gasquet looks to journey to the Round of 16 by making it past No. 20 Gael Monfils, while No. 14 Marin Cilic and No. 18 Kevin Anderson represent the marquee match between seeded men.
