Andy Murray led Great Britain to its first Davis Cup championship in 79 years. The last time was in 1936, but Murray played triple duty in all three days of the finals against Belgium to lead Great Britain to a 3-1 victory.
2015 Davis Cup final results: Andy Murray gives Great Britain first title since 1936
Murray dominated David Goffin on Sunday, giving Great Britain a Davis Cup title over Belgium.

The Davis cup features two singles matches on Day 1, a doubles matchup on Day 2 and, if necessary, two singles matches on the third and final day. Murray participated in three of the four finals matches played, making the final singles matches unnecessary.
Murray secured the victory with a dominant straight-set win over top Belgian player David Goffin, winning 6-3, 7-5, 6-2. Goffin secured Belgium its only point of the finals when he took down Kyle Edmund in five sets in the first singles match. Murray bested Ruben Bemelmans on the first day, and teamed with his brother, Jamie Murray, to down the team of Steve Darcis and David Goffin on Day 2.
This is the third time Great Britain has won the Davis Cup but again, it’s the first time in a long time. Murray now can add a Davis Cup title to his list of major wins at Wimbledon, the US Open and the Olympics.
