We’re back to your regularly scheduled programming at the 2015 French Open, at least for now. Rain delays on Sunday forced multiple matches into Monday, but everyone is caught up and we’re set to get the quarterfinals underway on Tuesday. Men’s No. 2 seed Roger Federer will be in action against No. 8 seed Stan Wawrinka, though you won’t be seeing women’s No. 2 seed Maria Sharapova, who was taken down by No. 13 seed Lucie Safarova on Monday.
French Open 2015: Matches and TV schedule for Tuesday at Roland Garros
Roger Federer will take on Stan Wawrinka in the quarterfinals of the 2015 French Open. Federer is still searching for that elusive second title at Roland Garros.

Federer is the highest seed on the day, but he should have his hands full with Wawrinka when they meet in the second match on Suzanne-Lenglen Court on Tuesday. Wawrinka is coming off a dominant win over No. 12 seed Gilles Simon, beating him in straight sets, while Federer needed four sets to down No. 13 seed Gael Monfils.
Tuesday's Action
In the other big men’s matchup on the day, No. 5 seed Kei Nishikori has had a quietly consistent tournament, but he’ll also have his hands full when he faces off against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga on Tuesday. Tsonga took four sets to upset No. 4 seed Tomas Berdych in Round 4, winning 6-3, 6-2, 6-7(5), 6-3.
Meanwhile, Safarova will face No. 21 seed Garbiñe Muguruza on the women’s side. That match will be the first on Suzanne-Lenglen Court, while women’s No. 7 seed Ana Ivanovic will go up against No. 19 seed Elina Svitolina in the first match on Philippe-Chatrier Court.
Television coverage of Tuesday’s matches will begin at 8 a.m. ET, with the first broadcast airing on the Tennis Channel. That will run through 1 p.m., at which point ESPN2 will take over through 3:30 p.m. Both of the women’s matches start at 8 a.m., while the men will play once those matches are done. You can watch the Tennis Channel’s coverage online through its premium service, while WatchESPN will also have streams on the day.
