Flavia Pennetta is the women’s singles champion at the US Open, and on Sunday, top seed Novak Djokovic and No. 2 seed Roger Federer will battle for the men’s title. We were potentially looking at a one seed against a two seed in both brackets heading into the semifinals, but Pennetta and her finals opponent, Roberta Vinci, scored upsets over Simona Halep and Serena Williams, respectively.
US Open 2015, Novak Djokovic vs. Roger Federer: Time, TV schedule and live stream for men’s final
Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer will face off for the US Open title on Sunday. Here’s how you can watch.

Djokovic and Federer are the two best in the world at what they do, and neither broke a sweat in the semifinals, against Marin Cilic and Stan Wawrinka, respectively. This is the fourth time the two are meeting in the finals of a Grand Slam, with Djokovic winning two finals at Wimbledon and Federer taking the 2007 US Open from Djokovic in the latter’s first ever Grand Slam final appearance.
Federer hasn’t won the US Open since 2008, but has won it five times in total. Djokovic has only won once at the US Open, back in 2011. Djokovic is going for his third Grand Slam title of the year after winning the Australian Open and Wimbledon. He lost in the finals of the French Open to Wawrinka.
The two have already met five times this season, with Djokovic winning three of them, including at Wimbledon. That said, Federer, who by all logic should be slowed at this stage of the tournament, hasn’t dropped a single set all tournament, while Djokovic has done so twice. The match should be an exciting one, as it’s always worth watching these two play anyone else, let alone each other.
Sunday’s match will take place after the women’s doubles final between Martina Hingis & Sania Mirza and Casey Dellacqua & Yaroslava Shvedova. The match won’t begin before 4 p.m. ET. ESPN will broadcast the match, and a live stream will be available at WatchESPN.
