US Open 2015: Schedule, TV coverage and live streaming for Day 6

Andy Murray, Roger Federer and Simona Halep headline the sixth day of the US Open.

Jerry Lai-USA TODAY Sports

The third round of the US Open will wrap up on Saturday, and the No. 2 seeds from both brackets will be in action. Roger Federer will continue his bid for yet another Grand Slam to his name, while Simona Halep will look to continue her strong play in the shadow of Serena Williams.

Federer will be taking on No. 29 seed Philipp Kohlschreiber. That’s not an easy out for anyone, but thus far, Federer hasn’t struggled with his US Open opponents, besting Steve Darcis and Leonardo Mayer in the first two rounds in straight sets. Halep has dominated her first two opponents and will be up against unseeded Shelby Rogers on Saturday.

Men’s No. 3 seed Andy Murray will also be playing on Saturday -- he’s set to take on Thomaz Bellucci. The only man other than Novak Djokovic to win a Grand Slam this year, Stan Wawrinka, will be taking on Ruben Bemelmans.

Meanwhile, top-seeded women in action include No. 5 seed Petra Kvitova, who will be taking on No. 32 Anna Karolina Schmiedlova, and No. 11 Angelique Kerber, who is set to save No. 20 Victoria Azarenka.

Saturday’s matches will be broadcast on ESPN2, beginning at 11 a.m. ET and running through 11 p.m. Live streams of all the day’s matches will be available at WatchESPN, beginning at 11 a.m. We’ve got the singles bracket matchups listed below, but for a full schedule of events, go here.
