US Open 2015: Schedule, TV coverage and live streaming for Day 7

After surviving a third-round scare, Serena Williams will be in action in the Round of 16 on Sunday at the US Open.

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The third round of the US Open is in the books, and the Round of 16 is here. The top seeds from both singles brackets are still intact, as Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams continue their bid for their third and fourth Grand Slams of the season, respectively.

Williams survived a minor scare on Friday, when she dropped her opening set to unseeded American Bethanie Mattek-Sands. But Williams, who is going for her 22nd Grand Slam championship (which would tie her for second place all-time with Steffi Graf), came back to win the second set and then absolutely dominated the third set.

On Sunday, Williams will be taking on No. 19 seed Madison Keys, who blazed through No. 15 Agnieszka Radwanska on Friday. Djokovic had zero struggles with his third-round opponent, downing No. 25 Andreas Seppi in straight sets. He’ll be up against No. 23 seed Roberto Bautista Agut in the fourth round.

Defending champion Marin Cilic will also be in action. The No. 9 seed wasn’t playing his best tennis coming into the tournament, but he made it through his third-round opponent, Mikhail Kukushkin, in five sets and will be taking on No. 27 Jeremy Chardy on Sunday.

Williams is on a crash course with her sister, Venus, in the quarterfinals. Venus will be up against unseeded Anett Kontaveit on Sunday. If both sisters win, they’ll play each other in the quarterfinals. Venus is the tournament’s No. 23 seed.

Television coverage of the day’s matches will be broadcast on ESPN2, beginning at 11 a.m. ET and ending at 11 p.m. There will be livestreams available of every match, available at WatchESPN beginning at 11 a.m. We’ve got the singles matches for Sunday below, but if you want a full list of events, go here.
