It’s been two days, but finally the top seed in the men’s bracket at the French Open, Andy Murray, will play his first-round matchup on Tuesday. Murray, who isn’t favorite despite being ranked as the top player in the world, will open against Andrey Kuznetsov.
French Open 2017: Times, TV schedule, matches and live stream for Tuesday at Roland Garros
Andy Murray will be in action for Tuesday at the French Open.

Murray’s top competition — Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal — have been considered bigger favorites than Murray for this year’s play at Roland Garros. Play on Tuesday will begin at 5 a.m. ET and will be broadcast by the Tennis Channel in the United Sates.
A live stream will be available online via NBC Sports. Play is expected to run for several hours, with a projected end time of around 3 p.m.
In addition to Murray, third seed Stan Wawrinka will be in action against Jozef Kovalik. Wawrinka has consistently been the third-ranked player but has struggled to really beat the guys in front of him and just behind him.
On the women’s side, Simona Halep will be taking on Jana Cepelova in the biggest matchup of the day. Halep is the third seed, and many believe she is the favorite, especially without Serena Williams and especially with Angelique Kerber defeated in the first round.
American Madison Keys, the 12th seed for the women, will be in action against Ashleigh Barty. Elina Svitolina, Johanna Konta and Agnieszka Radwanska are the fifth, seventh and ninth seeds, respectively. All of them will be in action for first-round play on Tuesday.
Below is all you need to know to watch Tuesday’s action, and a list of singles matches involving seeded players.
